ERP Électrotechnique : Piloter la fabrication de Tableaux et d'Équipements

Companies in the electrical-engineering sector — makers of electrical cabinets, transformers, charging stations or drive systems — constantly juggle the unexpected. The complexity of these projects demands flexibility across purchasing, engineering and shipping.

Engineering, manufacturing and maintenance BOMs

Design in electrical CAD tools (such as EPLAN) produces huge lists of cables, breakers and enclosures (e-BOM, Engineering BOM). The ERP's job is to translate that raw technical view into a manufacturable bill of materials (m-BOM, Manufacturing BOM) ready for work centres. AVIA ERP ingests the full electrical-CAD data, assigns routing in the factory, and ensures the shift to the service BOM for the product's life in the field.

Managing revisions and the “as-built”

In switchboard assembly it is common for the design office to change a schematic while the cabinet is already being wired on the floor (on-the-fly obsolescence management). The production-management software must be able to apply a revision change in the middle of a work order without freezing the whole system, and keep the as-built record confirming exactly which breaker revision was fitted in a specific cabinet, to ensure safety and final certification.
